The production took place in collaboration with child nutritionists, baby food experts and pediatricians. Their recommendations and guidelines became the basis for the creation of Galicia Baby.

Juices 12+ months

We deliberately do not label juices “4+ months”, although we can!

Ukrainian legislation allows us to label juices as suitable for consumption from 4 months. We have refused this approach, because it is based on modern achievements of evidence-based medicine.

The most authoritative medical organizations, the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) and the British National Health Service (NHS), recommend introducing juice into a child’s diet from 1 year.

There are no prohibitions on giving fruit juice earlier. But there is a risk that it will replace breast milk or infant formula. Thus, we support the proper development of children and the education of parents.

Cold-Pressed Juices

Juices are made by direct pressing - from real fruit, without adding water and sugar, which ensures maximum preservation of the beneficial properties of the fruit and the highest quality standard.

To understand the difference between all types of juice drinks, it is worth looking at the juice pyramid. At the top is fresh fruit. Below is fresh juice - juice from 100% freshly squeezed fruit, which is suitable for consumption for 15 minutes, until the drink oxidizes. And fresh juice, lightly pasteurized and bottled under aseptic conditions, is direct pressing juice. We produce Galicia juices using a simple and understandable technology, which ensures impeccable quality:

100% natural purees and juice with pulp

We have added fruit pulp to the juice, which is a natural source of fiber.

Fruit juice alone cannot completely replace the benefits of whole fruit, as it loses fiber and other nutrients. However, the fruit fiber (puree) that we have added to Galicia Baby plays an important role in digestion and helps to "hold back" free sugars.

Galicia Baby has no added sugar, only the natural sugar content of the fruit.

No juice is added to the puree, as it is recommended for children from 12 months.

Unique Flavors for the Ukrainian Market, with Pulp

All Galicia Baby juices contain pulp.

We have developed unique flavors for the Ukrainian market: 3 flavors for the "baby juices" category and 6 unique flavors in the "baby purees" category.

Puree from 6 months

Puree is recommended for children from 6 months.

In our approach, we based exclusively on modern achievements of evidence-based medicine and recommendations of authoritative international organizations. WHO, AAP and UNICEF recommend breastfeeding exclusively up to 6 months with the subsequent introduction of complementary foods while maintaining breastfeeding up to 2 years and beyond.

Up to 6 months, the child's digestive system is not yet ready to digest solid food.

No Contraindications

There is no reason to worry that juices or purees are harmful to the child's health.

It is worth focusing only on the individual tolerance of the ingredients.
